Dress Code

Girls

Pink, Black, White or Pastel-Colored leotard. Pink, black or tan tights OR white ankle socks. No tutus or skirts should be below knee length.

Boys

Black or White fitted shirt. Black Basketball or Bike Shorts. White socks.

Shoes

Ballet: Pink ballet shoes with elastic for girls and black or white ballet shoes for boys. These can be purchased at a dance retail store or online.
Tap: Black Mary-Jane style tap shoes with tap ties for girls. Oxford style tap shoes for boys.
Jazz: Barefoot or ballet shoes.
Hip-Hop: White-soled tennis shoes or Converse that are to be used ONLY for dance class.

Hair

Hair should be pulled off the face and neck. Buns, French braids, pigtails, and ponytails are fine. Short hair should be held with a thick headband. Use clips and hairpins.

Academy

Girls

Ballet 1: Light Blue short sleeve, tank or camisole leotard
Ballet 2: Lavender short sleeve, tank or camisole leotard
Ballet 3: Royal Blue short sleeve, tank or camisole leotard
Ballet 4: Navy Blue short sleeve, tank, or camisole leotard
Intermediate/Advanced: Black leotard, any style
All Levels: Convertible Pink tights OR white ankle socks

NO tutus, shorts or skirts are allowed

No cover-ups

No underwear or undershirts should be worn under the leotard and tights for clean lines and comfort

Boys

Ballet 1-3: Black or White fitted shirt. Black Basketball or Bike Shorts. White socks. Boys dance belt.
Ballet 4: Black or White men's dance shirt. Black boys tights or bike shorts. White socks. Boys dance belt.

Hair

Shoes

Pink canvas or leather ballet shoes with elastic for girls and black or white ballet shoes with elastic for boys. These can be purchased at a dance retail store or online.
